AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNMEXING TO THE CITY
CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN SECTIONS 4 and 8, TOWN-
SHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, WHICH LANDS ARE
CONTIGUOUS TO EXISTING MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF SAID
CITY; AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY
TO INCLUDE SAID LANDS. (Part of N. W. ~th Ave. lying
East of 2nd Addition to High Acres - and - part of
N. E. 22nd Street lying West of Northridge Road)
WHEREAS, it is deemed for the best interest, safety,
health, and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, that the hereinafter described real property be
annexed to the City of Delray Beach, anS.
WHEREAS, said lands are contiguous to the present
boundary of territorial limits of the City, and that, when
annexed, will constitute a reasonably compact addition to the
incorporated territory with which it is combined, and
WHEREAS, the City of Delray Beach has heretofore been
authorized to annex lands in accordance with Section 185.1 of
the City Charter of said City granted to it by the State of
Florida:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
S..ECTI0N 1. That the City Council of the City of Delray
Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, hereby annexes to said City
the following described parcels of land located in Palm Reach
County, Florida, which lie contiguous to said City, to-wit:
Those parcels of land lying and being in the
Model Land Company's Subdivision of Sections
4 and 8, Township 46 South, Range 43 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida, described as
follows:
1. The South twenty-five (25) feet of the
of the S 165 feet of the E 669 feet of
the S½ of the N½ of the SW% of the SW% of
Section 4, Township 46 South, Range 43
East, LESS the West 145 feet thereof, as
recorded in the Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida.
2. The East twenty-five (25) feet of the
of the NW% of the NE% of Section 8, Town-
ship 46 South, Range 43 East; otherwise
described as the E 25 feet of the Sub-
division known as SECOND ADDITION TO HIGH
ACRES as shown on Plat thereof filed in
the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida, per Plat Book 23, Page 37.

SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, are hereby redefined so as to include therein
the above described parcels of land, and said lands are hereby
declared to be within the corporate limits of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida.
SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence
or part of this ordinance shall be declared illegal by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such record of illegality shall in no
way affect the remaining portion°
