AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEA~, FLORIDA,
DESIGNATING THE TERRITORY TO BE INCLUDED IN FIRE ZONES I, II AND III
AS PROVIDED BY SECTION 2, CHAPTER II OF THE CITY CODE OF DELRAY BEACH~
FLORIDA, AND DIRECTING TMAT SUCH PROPERTY BE DESIGNATED ON THE FIRE
ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA~ AND REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. G-13 OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS Section 2, Chapter II of the City Code of the City of
Delray Beach, Florida, provides that Fire Zones I, II and III shall
be designated on a Fire Zone Map to be kept on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, and
WHEREAS the City Council desires to definitely designate the
property in the City of Delray Beach which shall be placed in each
such Fire Zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the
City of Delray Beach, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. Fire Zone I of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
shall include all properSy in the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
lying between Swinton Avenue and the Ocean Boulevard and between a
line 140 feet North of the North boundary of Atlentic Avenue and a
line 140 feet South of the South boundary of Atlantic Avenue, and
Fire Zone I of the City of Delray Beach, Florida shall also include
all properSy in the City of Delray Beach lying between Swin~on Avenue
and the Seaboard Air Line Railway and betw, ena line ~0 feet North
of the North boundary of Atlantic AvenGe and a line l~(~ feet South
of the South boundary line of Atlantic Avenue.
SECTION 2. Fire Zone II of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
shall include the following property in the City of Delray Beach
which is not located within Fire Zone I, to-wit: Blocks 68, 69, 76,
??, 83, 84, 8§, 86, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 106,
10?, 108, 109, ll0, ll4, llS, ll6, ll?, 12~, 12§, 133, the East ~ of
Block 105, the West ~ of Block ll3, Lots l0 to 2?, incl., of Haller
& Grootman Subdivision, Lots 20 to 43, incl., Hofman Addition, Lots
9 to 14, incl., 31 to 42, incl., and Lots 59 to 64 incl., of I~cGinley
& Gosme_n Subdivision, Block i and the West ~ of Block 2 of Sophia
Frey Subdivision, all property in the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
North of Sophia Frey Subdivision between the R/W of the F.E.C. Rail-
- -~Way and the line 13~.5' East ~of ~ad parallel to the East R/W line of
NE 6th Avenue; the South ~a of Block 148, South ~ of Block 140, Lots
?, 8, 9, 10, ES, Z6, Z? and E8 of Seabreeze Park, South ~ of Block
164, Beach Lot 15, Blocks l, £, $ and A of Ocean Park, all property
lying between Ocean Park and Williamson-Deibel Subdivision, Lots l,
ll, 1E, 15, lA, 15, 16, l? and 18, Williamson-Deibel Subdivision,
Blocks 1Al, 1Ag, 157 and the East ~ of Blocks lll, llZ and She
West ~ of Blocks llS, ll9 end 1E0, all property in the City of
Delray Beach, Florida South of S.E. Ath Street and lying between a
line lA0 feet East of the East R/W line of S.E. 6th Avenue and a
line lA0 feet West of the WeSt R/W line of S.E. 6th Avenue.
SECTION 5t Fire Zone III of the City of Delray Beach, Florida,
shall include all property in the City of Delray Beach not located
in Fire ~one I and Fire Zone II.
SECTION 4. That Ordinance No. G-lB of the City Council of the
City of Delray Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby repealed.
