AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA,
ANLENDING AN ORDINANCE CREATING A C0~NE[SSION ON
PLU~BING AND ELECTRICAL %%SRING IN THE CITY OF
DELRAY, PROVIDING FOR ~ CONSTRUCTION, NAINTENANCE
AND REPAIR OF PLIDIBING IN THE CITY OF DELRAY, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Delray
Beach, Florida, that Sect ion 2 of Chapter III, of 0rdinance
Number 157, of Book 2, being an Ordinance creating a commission
on plumbing and electrical wiring in the City of Delray, pro-
riding for the construction, maintenance and repair of
plumbing in the City of D~lray, Florida be amended so as to
read as follows, to-wit:
"Sec.2'~It shall be the duty of Said Board of Plumbing Commis-
sioners to examine and pass on the qualifications of all who
desire to engage in the busiuess of plumbing within the limits
of the City of Delray, Florida. This examination shall satisfy
the boa rd as to the applicant's ability as a plumb er and his
familiarity with the plumbing regulations of the City of Delray,
Florida. Each applicant who desires to take the examination
for a license to do business as a master plumber shall pay to
the Board of Plumbing Co~issioners the sum of $15.00, and each
applicant who desires to take the examination for a license to
do business as a journeyman plumber shall pay to the Board of
Plumbing Commissioners the sum of $5.00. No examination shall
be given without such fee first being paid, and such fee or fees
that are paid to said Board shall be equally divided among the
members of the examining Board conducting said examination, and
shall be retained by said members of said examining Board as and
for their compensation for services rendered as members of such
examining Board.
