A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 10, SECTION 10-1g AUTHORIZING A
TRANSFER OF THE CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE FROM
FAIRBANKS CABLE OF FLORIDA, INCORPORATED, AN INDIANA
CORPORATION, TO FAIRBANKS COMMUNICATIONS, INCOR-
PORATED, AN INDIANA CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the current cable franchise is held by Fairbanks Cable of Florida, Inc., an
Indiana Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the franchise holder has undergone a merger, and the name of the new
corporation will be Fairbanks Communications, Inc., an Indiana Corporation, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 10, Cable Television Franchise of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Delray Beach requires in Section 10-1g that any transfer of the franchise be approved by a
resolution of the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Delray Beach authorizes a transfer of
the franchise from Fairbanks Cable of Florida, Inc., an Indiana Corporation, to Fairbanks Commu-
nications, Inc., an Indiana Corporation.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be effective on the effective date of the
transfer which is May lg, 19gg.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to send a certified copy of this
Resolution to the franchise holder.
