Res 1017-56 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CI2Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, ~ORIDA WHEPEAS, Section 185 of the City Charter of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, regarding annexation of new territory to the City of Delray Beach authorizes said City to annex any unincorporated tracts lying contiguous to the I¥iunicipal boundary lines and within Palm Beach County, Florida; and WHEREAS, it is considered by the City Council that the inclusion of the hereinafter described property within the corporate boundaries of the City of Delray Beach is for the best interests of this City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~E CI~ COUNCIL OF THE CI~ OF D~Y B~CH: 1. E. 7th Street and U. S, Highway No. 1 to ~he northwest corner of the property sought to be annexed, a p-~otographic copy of said contract having been attached to the basic ~etition for annexation; and ~¥7{EREAS, all of said water installation contracts meet the requirements and are in compliance with the regulations of the City of Delray Beach, tl r~da, and have heretofore been approved by the City Enqineer of this City, NOW, ~{E~EFORE, ~3J.~] IT ~E~SOLVED BY THE CiTY ~OU~,!L OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH: 1. That the aforesaid plat and plans for the s~bdivision and development of the aforesaid property be and they are hereby ra~.ified and aDprovedo 2. That the City boundaries shall be extended by ordinance as provided by [[aw to include said property and tha~ such o~.di~-~a.n~~ shall include and contain the following provisions: (a) Said territory shall De ann~xe~ under 'the following zoning, regula'ions and condi4-ions: (1) Residence "R-iA" District shall be applica~le to !otsnumbered One (1) through Ninety-three (93), both numbers inclusiw-~, and lots numbered One Hundred Five (105) through One Hundred Nineteen (119), both numbers inclusive; (2) Residence "R-S" District shall be applicable to Lots Ninety-four (94) through Ninety-nine (99) and Lots One Hundred One (101) and One Hundred Two (102) which shall be used for multi-family or duplex type residential properties, and Lots One Hundred (100), One Hundred.
