%~TEkF~S, the City of Delray Beach, Florida, is the fee simple
title owner of the following described property, to wit:
Ail of Blocks C, E, 1, 6, 8, 13, 7, 14, 16,
17, 15 and 18 of Plat No. ! of HO~OOD,
addition to City of Delray (Formerly Linton),
Florida, according to Plat thereof on file
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, as in
Plat Book 15, pages 23 and 24,
and
W~HE~S, it has been determined by the City Council, that it is to
the best interests of the City that a portion of said HOMEWOOD subdivision,
and plat including the above described Drop~rty be vacated as provided in
Sec. 192.29 and 192.30, Florida Statutes, Laws of 19Z5: and
WREEEAS, said vacating will not affect the o~mership of persons
owning other parts of said subdivision.
NOW, E~EBEFOHE, BE IT ~E~.SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF
DELR.~J BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the following part of said HOMEWOOD subdivision and plat
be and the same is hereby vacated: "Ail that part of Plat No. 1 of HO~WO0D,
addition to City of Delray (formerly Linton), Florida, lying East of Easterly
right-of-way line of Homewood Avenue and North of the Northerly right-of-way
line of Highland Avenue, extended to the West line of Canal right-of-way,
including all of Blocks C, E, 1, 6, 8, 13, 7, 14, 16, 17, 15, and 18, all
according to plat thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court
in a~nd for Palm Beach County, Florida, as in Plat Book 15, pages ~3 and 24."
2. That the City ^ttorney be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to apply, after proper notice required ~ law, to the Board of
County Commissioners for the vacating of said part of Homewood subdivision and
plat.
