Res 801-51 RESOLUTION NO. 801 A RESOLD~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE STATE ROAD DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AND THE COUNTY OF PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO REPAIR, MAINTAIN, REPAVE, AND WIDEN CERTAIN COUNTY AND STATE ROADS WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA. WHEREA~, the City of Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, is financially unable to mainta~ n, repave, repair and widen the County and State Roads within the Municipal boundaries of this City, and WHEREAS, certain of such State and County Roads are in serious need of maintenance, repair, widening and resurfacing, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, as follows: S,ECTION 1: That th~tate Road Department of the State of Florida and/or the County of Palm Beach, Florida, pave Northeast Second Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to Northeast Second Street, from curb to curb; and repave and widen to a width of thirty (30) feet said Northeast Second Avenue from Northeast Second Street to Northeast Thirteenth Street, in the City of Delray Beach, Florida. SECTION 2: That the State Road Department of the State of Florida, and/or the County of Palm Beach, Florida, oil and sand Fifth Avenue from the north City limits to the South City limits. SECTI.....ON 3: That the State Road Department of the State of Florida, and/or the County of Palm Beach, Florida, repave with asphalt cement mix, Atlantic Avenue from the Seaboard Air Line Railroad tracks on Ocean Boulevard, in the City of Delray Beach, Flori da. SECTTON 4: That copies of this Resolution be sent to Honorable Ben F. Sundy, and to the State Road Department, at Tallahassee, Florida.
