Res 443 RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, INSTRUCTIi~G THE CITY ATTORNEYS TO IN' STITUTE FORECLOSURE PROCEEDINGS FOR COLLECTION OF TAX SALE CERTIFICATES HELD BY THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is for the best interest of the City to collect its delinquent tax liens outstanding against the following described property, to-wit: The East one-half (E~) of Lot 27, Section 20, Township ~6 South, Range ~3 East. AND WHEREAS, Section 109 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, provides that upon the adoption of a reso- lution instructing the City Tax Collector to deliver any one or more tax lien certificates owned by the City and in the cus- tody of said Collector to the City Attorneys for collection, said City Attorneys upon receipt of such tax sale certificates shall proceed to foreclose said liens in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved: Section i - That the City Tax Collector is hereby instructed to deliver to the City Attorneys all tax sale certificates owned by the City and in the Custody of the Tax COllector, outstanding against the following described real estate, to-wit: CERTIFICATES 5299- AND 7066 The East one-half (E½) of Lot 27, Section 20, Township 46 South, Range &3 East. so that said tax lien certificates may be foreclosed by the City Attorneys. Section 2 - That the City Attorneys are hereby instructed to institute foreclosure proceeding for the collection of said tax sale certificates, when delivered to them by the City Tax Collector, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach.
