BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the entire cost of ~uch Work be as-
sessed against the lots and larffi upon 'which such work is performed in propor-
tion, to the benefits to be derived therefrom, said special .benefits to be pro-
, rated according to the foot frontage of the property specially benefitted by such
work. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said special assessments against the
lots and lands specially benefitted shall be and: remain lien superior ih dignity
to all other liens, except liens for taxes until ~oaid from the date of the assess-
ment upon the respective lots and parcels of land asses, sed .and which will bear
interest at the rate of eight percent per annum and may be paid in ten equal
