IN SAID PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. (Laing St. W 212')
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of
Delray Beach, FZor~da, that plans and specifications and
the estimated cost, amounting to $523.96 of the proposed
street improvement york be accepted.
BE IT ~-TJRTHER RESOLVED That said plans and specifi-
cations of the City Engineer be filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Delray Beach, Florida, and that the same shall be
open to the inspection of the public, and that a copy of said
plans, specifications and estimates of cost shall be filed in
the office of the City Engineer for public inspection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVm70 That said plans and specifications
and estimated cost of the proposed improvements cover the
follo~dng work, to-wit:
Paving that portion of Laing Street commencing at Andrev~
Avenue and running East 212 feet.
ADOPTED By the City Council of the City of Delray Beach,

In accordance with your instructions, I submit
herewith plans and specifications for paving Laiug Street
from the Andrews Avenue pavement, East two hundred and
twelve (212') feet.
Following arethe estimated costs for smme:

Specifications for resurfacing Laing
Street from North Ocean Boulevard,
West, five hundred and thirty-six
feet (536'), or to a point two hundred
and twelve (212') feet East from the
Andrews Avenue paving.
The entire R/W is first to be cleaned of all growth,
care being taken to remove all grass and weeds from the exist-
trig rock base.
Headerboards are to be set and allowed to remain
in place. These forms are to be 2 x 6 ~l fought South Florida
pine of at least 85% heart, or equal.
The existing rock base is to be scarified, graded
evenly and rolled, then sufficient rock added to enable thorough
waterbinding. Grading for waterbinding shall conform to general
existi~g contours.
Beginning fifteen feet (15') west from the edge of the ~ 1
Ocean Boulevard pavement, Laing Street is to be completely
rebuilt, with returns laid on a twenty foot (20') radius.
Returns at Sandpiper Lane and Harmon Court are to be
made to the North R/W line of Laing Street and for the full
width of each street.
Rock which is added on this work for waterbinding
shall pass State Road Department #2 specifications.
The entire finished road is to measure at least
fifteen feet (15') wide between headerboards.
Each bid shall include the sum of ten cents (10¢)
per square yard to provide for oiling and sanding by the City.
