( E 536' of Laing St. ) BE IT RESOLVED By the 0ity Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, that plans and specifications and the estimated cost, amounting to $591.31 of the proposed street improvement work be accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said plans and specifications of the City Engineer be filed with the City Clerk of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, and that the same shall be open to the inspection of the public, and that a copy of said plans, specifications and estimates of cost shall be filed in the office of the City Engineer for public inspection. BE IT Fb~RTHER RESOLVED That said plans and specifi- cations and estimated cost of the proposed improvements cover the following work, to-wit: Resurfacing that portion of Laing Street commencing at Ocean Boulevard and running West 536 feet. Cromer Acting ~ity Engineer ho Specifications for paving Laing Street frc~ the Andrews Awenue pavement, East two hundred and twelve feet (212'). Beginning at the Andrews Avent~ pavement the Laing Street R/W shall be graded according to elevations furnished by the City. New paving is to be eight inches (8") of rock cc~pressed to six inches (6") and thoroughly waterbound. At Andrews Avenue returns with a twenty foo~ (20') radius are to be provided. Headerboards are to be set an~ allowed to remain in place. These forms are to be 2 x 6 #l rough South Florida Pine of at least 85% heart, or equal. Rock used on this work shall pass State Road Depart- ment # 2 specifications. The entire finished road is to measure at least fifteen feet (15') wide bet~en headerboards. Each bid shall include the sum of ten cents (10¢) per square yard to provide for oiling and sanding by the City.
