known as the Florida East Coast Canal, or Inland Waterway, as is
hereinabove set forths, and described' and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Honorable Senator Ikuncan
U. Fletcher, Honorable Congressman J. Mark Wilcox and the Honorable
Congressman W.J. Sears be, and they are hereby respectfully petitioned
and requested to use their efforts and influence in securing this
needed approp~iation~.Lfor the securing of funds from ~ !.~.i ~i
for the construction of said bulkheads, in order to protect the
municipal streets, parks and playgrounds~ and also to protect prl-
rate property which is being greatly da~ged due to the erosion of the
canal banks as the ~ now exist along the Florida East Coast Canal
within limits of the City of Delray Beach, Florida.
The above and foregoing resolution was adopte~ ~ the City
Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, in Special Session
this 3rd day of May, A.D., 1935.
