Res 180 RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PASSAGE
IN THE 1937 SESSION OF THE STATE
LEGISI~TURE OF A SPECIAL ACT
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Delray Beach
instructed and anthorized its City Attorney, C.Y. Byrd, to draw
an act legalizing, ratifying, validating and confirming
all tax rolls, tax assessments, etc., of the City of Delray Beach
Florida;
'~RF_~REAS, the City Attorney has prepared said Act as
requested by the City Council and has presented the same for
acceptance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, that the Act, the same
being entitled:
An act legalizing, ratifying, validating and con-
firming all tax levies, tax rolls and tax assessments
· heretofore made by the City of Delray Beach, Florida;
and legalizing, ratifying, validating and confirming
all the acts and proceedings had or taken by each
and every of the public officials of the 3ity of
Delray Beach, Florida_, in levying and ~ssessing the
taxes of said City and in making and preparing the
tax assessment rolls of said City; and legalizing,
ratifying, validating and confirming each and every
tax sale had and held by said City and each and every
tax sale certificate issued by the officials of said
City for the years 1930, 1931, 1932, 193~, 1934, 1935
and 1936; and legalizing, ratifying, validating and
confirming the payment of taxes and assessments with
bonds, interest coupons, or cash discounts by the
City for past due taxes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a ~opy of this Resolution
be delivered by the City Attorney to the said Honorable John R.
Beacham, Senator, and the Honorable tiussell 0. 5~orrow and Paul
Rardin, Members of the House of Representatives.
The above and foregoing resolution was adopted by
the City C~uncil of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, at its
Presiden~t~ ~f the City Council,
