Res 82 Upon motion made by Councilman
and seconded by Councilman , the following
Resolution was duly passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION NO.
AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING FLORIDA POWER &
LIGHT COMPANY TO RESTORE TO SERVICE CERTAIN
STREET LIGHTS AND THEREAFTER TO OPERATE
THEM UNDER THE STREET LIGHTING AGREEMENT
DATED THE 3RD DAY OF AUGUST 1929, IN EFFECT
BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SAID COMPANY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That Florida Power & Light Company is hereby
authorized ~nd requested to restore to service, as of
~6/ ~ 1932, and thereafter to serve under the
Street Lighting Agreement in effect between the City and the
said Company and dated the 3rd day of August 1929, certain
street lights heretofore discontinued in pursuance of a
Supplementary Agreement now in effect between the City and
the Company and dated the 10th day of May 1932, said street
lights being described as follows:
~Y//~ - 100 Candlepower Lamps
supported on Bracket Type Fixtures owned by the Company, and
- 100 Candlepower Lamps
supported on "White Way' or other type of ornamental standards
owned by the Company.
2. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution
to Florida Power & Light Company.
