A special meeting of the City Council was held in the Council
Chambers at 2:00 P.M., with Mayor George V. Warren in the Chair,
City Manager W. E. Lawson Jr., City Attorney Harry T. Newett and
Commissioners Col. Dugal G. Campbell and Catherine E. Strong heing
present.
This meeting had been called for the purpose of considering ad-
ditional Conditions of Sale with reference to disposal of the
Municipal Golf Course of Public Auction to he held on Monday, Sept-
ember 23rd, 1957.
Following general discussion and review of Resolutions No. 1065
and 1069, Commissioner Strong moved that Resolution No. 1065 he
further amended by adding the following provision to the terms of
sale, of said Golf Course, as contained in Section $ (c) of Reso-
lution No. 1069:
"The restrictions as outlined in Section $ (c), Resolution
No. 1069, shall apply only to those portions of the property
used for golf course and recreational purposes on the date
of sale and to those portions of the property which shall
later become recreational areas."
Motion seconded by Cemmissioner Campbell and unanimously carried.
Meeting adjourned.
