SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA
Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach, Mayor Rita Ellis has instructed
me to announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes:
AUTHORIZATION TO FILE A SECOND APPEAL OF FEDERAL EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FUNDING DETERMINATION AND
AUTHORIZATION TO FILE SUIT AGAINST DEBRIS CONTRACTOR: Consider
authorizing the City to file a second appeal regarding the (FEMA) funding determination for
Hurricane Frances debris removal and grant staff the authority to file suit against the City's Disaster
Debris Removal Contractor.
2. RENAMING REQUEST/"505" TEEN CENTER SKATE PARK: Consider a request for
approval to rename the "505" Teen Center Skate Park to Hobbit Skate Park in memory of Jason
Weinstein, a Recreation Supervisor at the Teen Center.
