'That Chapter I O1, "Parks, Beaches, and Recreation", Section 101.35, "Storing Boats", Subsection (1'), of the Code of C)rdinauces of the Ciri- of llelra~~ Beach, Florida, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: (F) 'hhe permit fee to be submitted with the application shall be ~?99~19 $250.00, plus applicable taxes. NO. 28-1O ORDINANCE NO. 28-10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 101, "PARKS , BEACHES, AND RECREATION" BY AMENDING SECTION 101.35(F), "STORING BOATS" IN ORDER TO CFIANGE THE ANNUAL FEE FOR STORING SAILBOATS ON THE MUMCIPAL BEACH; PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSE, A GENERAL REPEALER CLAUSE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, desires to modify d1e rate stnich~re for storing sailboats. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. BACKGROl1ND This ordinance amendment is before Commission for approval to change the annual fee for storing sailboats on the municipal beach. The boat storage permit fee has not been changed since March, 1995. This amendment would increase the pern~it fee from $200.00 to $250.00, plus applicable taxes.
