SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach, Mayor Jeff Perlman has instructed me to announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes: 1.MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESULTS: Canvass the returns, and declare the results of the March 8, 2005 First Nonpartisan Election. (Approved, 5-0) 2.RESOLUTION NO. 9-05: Consider approval of Resolution No. 9-05 authorizing the City to purchase property located at 80 Depot Avenue to provide land for the City’s storage facility; and Contract for Sale and Purchase between the City and Trackside Brothers, LLC in the amount of $1,575,000.00. (Approved, 5-0) 3.ALTERNATIVE WATER SUPPLY GRANT APPLICATION/SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (SFWMD): Authorize staff to submit a grant application to the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) in the amount of $300,000.00 for alternative water supply funding. (Approved, 5-0) 4.CONTRACT AWARD/ROSSO PAVING & DRAINAGE, INC.: Approve a contract award to Rosso Paving & Drainage, Inc. in the amount of $149,947.50 for the installation of concrete slabs, sidewalks, and curbs for the Bus Shelters Project. Funding is available from 334-3162-544-65.70 (General Construction Fund/Bus Shelters).
