SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA
Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach, Mayor Jeff Perlman has
instructed me to announce a Special Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following
purposes:
1. APPROVAL OF NOMINATION FOR THE ANNUAL FLORIDA LEAGUE OF
CITIES EXCELLENCE AWARDS PROGRAM: Consider approval of the nomination
of David T. Harden in the Category of City Manager of the Year for the Florida League of
Cities Excellence Awards Program. This approval is a new requirement this year. All
nomination packets must be received by the League by Friday, August 26, 2005. (First
motion to nominate David T. Harden for the category of City Manager of the Year;
Approved, 4-0. Second motion to nominate Joseph Safford for the category of Finance
Officer of the Year; Approved, 4-0)
