AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN
DESIGNATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF
LAND LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH,
RANGE 43 EAST FROM MF-10 (MULTIPLE FAMILY - 10
UNITS/ACRE) TO C-COMMERCIAL. SAID LAND IS LOCATED ON THE
WEST SIDE OF SOUTH FEDERAL HIGHWAY, BETWEEN S.E. 10TH
STREET AND THE DELRAY MALL; AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property
is as follows:
All of the Plat of Professional Office Plaza For
Acquilano as recorded at Plat Book 44, Page 147 of the
Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; also
described as follows:
All of the South Half (S 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the
southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 21, Township 46
South, Range 43 East in Palm Beach County, Florida, lying
west of the westerly right-of-way line of U.S. %1,
Southbound, as is existing and current in use.
The subject property is located on the west side of South
Federal Highway, between S.E. 10th Street and the Delray
Mall, Delray Beach, Florida.
The above-described parcel contains a 2.03 acre parcel of
land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
'property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to C-Commercial.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Land Use Plan of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 25th day of August , 1987.
