59-87 ORDINANCE NO. 59-87 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT IN GC (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST. SAID LAND IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF CONGRESS AVENUE, NORTH OF ATLANTIC AVENUE, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1983". NOW, THEREFORE,' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the following described property in the City of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the GC (~eneral Commercial) District as defined in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit: All that certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, lying in Section 18, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, more particularly described as: Beginning at a point of intersection of the Westerly right-of-way line of Congress Avenue and the Northerly right-of-way line of State Road ~806; thence run South 55 degrees 12 minutes 39 ~econds West along the Northerly right-of-way line of State Road ~806, a distance of 242.13 feet, to a point; thence North 0 degree 28 minutes 51 seconds West, a distance of 338.99 feet, to a point; thence South 89 degrees, 45 minutes and 30 seconds East parallel with the East-West Quarter Section line of Section 18, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, a distance of 200.00 feet, more or less, to a point in the Westerly right-of-way line of Congress Avenue; thence South 0 degree 28 minutes 51 seconds East along the Westerly right-of-way line of Congress' Avenue, a distance of 200.00 feet more or less, to the point of Beginning. Less .038 acres of the above described parcel conveyed to the County of Palm Beach, Florida, for road widening purposes by deed dated October 12, 1976. The subject property is located on the west side of Congress Avenue, north of Atlantic Avenue. The above-described parcel contains a 1.199 acre parcel of land, more or less. Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delra~ Beach, Florida, to con?orm with the provisions of Section 1 hereof. Section 3.
