AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED
LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT IN MIC (MIXED INDUSTRIAL
AND COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING
IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST. SAID
LAND IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF CONGRESS AVENUE,
NORTH OF ATLANTIC AVENUE, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1983".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property in the City
of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the MIC (Mixed
Industrial and Commercial) District as defined in Chapter 30 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the parcel described
below:
The South 145' of the North 170' of the East 720' of the
West 5/8 of the North 1/2 of the South 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 46 South, Range 43
East in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Then proceeding westward along the projection of the
north line of said parcel to the east right-of-way of the
Lake Worth Drainage District E-4 Canal, then southward
along said east right-of-way approximately 350' to a line
parallel to and 170.86' south of the south line of said
parcel, then proceed eastward along said line to the west
right-of-way of Congress Avenue, then proceed northward
along said west right-of-way to the southeast corner of
said parcel, then proceed westward along the south line
of said parcel to the southwest corner of said parcel,
then proceed northward along the west line of said parcel
to the Point of Beginning.
The subject property is located on the west side of
Congress Avenue, north of Atlantic Avenue.
The above-described parcel contains a 5.20 acre parcel of
land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, ~lorida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That this ¢,rdinance shall become effective ten days
after p~ssage on second and fin~.l reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 25th day of August , 1987.
