RE revised spread sheet for proposers cost analysisFor Republic, the formula needed to be the amount divided by 1.05 or 1.10, so attached is the corrected spreadsheet.

Sorry to be slow getting back to you.
On the adjustments to Republic's pricing, assuming that Republic arrived at their submitted prices by multiplying their price to the customer by the franchise fee percentage, then I
believe that the correct arithmetic is to divide the formerly submitted incorrect prices by 1.05 and 1.10, respectively. Pls do a couple of sample calculations and confirm whether Bill
or I are is correct. Thanks

Jack,
I have revised the cost analysis spread sheet as per the result from the ranking committees meeting this past week and the clarification of Republic including the franchise fees within
their residential and commercial pricing sheets. Also, I move the 244 units to be included in the 17,000 residential units since the previous service of side door collection within the
the current area will no longer be offered.
The residential pricing for Republic has been calculated by taking the inserted price X's .95 since the residential franchise fee is 5%.
The commercial pricing for Republic has been calculated by taking the inserted price X's .90 since the commercial franchise fee is 10%. I did not alter the commercial recycling pricing
due to fact that State law, the City really cannot charge a franchise fee on commercial recycling.
Therefore, the lines within the spread sheet which have been changes are as follows:
Residential
J4, J5,, J7, J8, J10, J11, Totals on J15, J16 & J17,Totals on J18, J20, J26 Totals on J27, J31,
As you can see by moving the 244 units up to the 17,000 unit line I have zeroed (0) lines F30,J30,L30 & N30.
Commercial
G36, G38, G40 total on G41, G42 Total on G43, G45 total on G46, G47, G49, G52.
Although this did not change the overall pricing ranking it draw the proposals somewhat closer together.
I would appreciate it if you would review and either concur or correct any changes you disagree with if any before releasing this to purchasing, committee and public.
Any questions please do not hesitate to call on me.
Thanks,
