On Tuesday, January 20th, the Delray City Commission will vote to award
the contract. In December, the city’s Selection Committee ranked
Waste Management #1! In fact, 4 of the 5 committee members ranked Waste
Management #1 over its four competitors based on Service, Experience,
Safety, Community Involvement and Price/Value.
The great news -- single-family home residents, condo/apartment
residents, and businesses will ALL save money with the new Waste
Management rates. We are able to pass on our savings through our
Efficiency measures and the introduction of new trucks using Compressed
Natural Gas which are less expensive and more environmentally sensitive
(less greenhouse gas emissions and quieter on your streets).
