Highlighting the shift was a Stroke Alert which was later down graded to a TIA. Erik handled the call very well due to the amount of stress from the family on scene. He continues to gain confidence in his abilities. He has been working very hard in his efforts to improve in all areas of the STEP program. During this period we had a code with T5 at Abbey South, all went fairly smooth as could be expected. The patient was a difficult intubation as we had three attempts and at the hospital the ER physician had problems with intubating as well. Great experience for Paramedic Trainee Grau.
