N/A SUPPORT NEEDED: What type of guidance or other support do you need from your supervisor to improve your performance during the next rating period? So far my supervisors have done a great job in try to teach and mold me into a proficient and safe firefighter. I would ask them to just continue giving me tips to improve my overall effectiveness. SELF -DEVELOPMENT: What methods/programs/courses, etc. are you using to keep abreast of new developments in your field? I am continually reading my EMS protocols and department SOGs. I consistently get hands on with the apparatus and equipment to become more prof ciew and skilled at this profession. I also continue to ask questions because the crews I work with range in their experience levels and knowledge of fire and EMS situations. The crews I've come in contact with have been very generous in passing along information they feel is important and that I need to know. The crew at station 1 A shift has been and continues to assist in my learning process and development into a proficient and safe firefighter paramedic. Overall all I love job and enjoy coming to work each day.
