AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED
R-1AA (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, IN PART, AND
R-1AAA-B (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, IN PART, TO
R-1AA (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, A PARCEL OF LAND
LYING AND BEING IN THE SOUTHEAST ONE-QUARTER (SE 1/4) OF
SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 42 EAST, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA. SAID LAND IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE
OF DOVER ROAD, BETWEEN LINTON BOULEVARD .AND SHERWOOD
BOULEVARD AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH,
FLORIDA, 1983".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property in the City
of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the R-1AA
(Single Family Dwelling) District as defined in Chapter 30 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit:
A parcel of land in the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of
Section 24, Township 46 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach
County, Florida; being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast (NE) Corner of Tract "B",
LAKEVIEW, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 30, Pages 10 and 11, of the Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida; thence South 00 08'00" along
the Easterly boundary of said Tract "B" a distance of
340.00 feet; thence continue South 00o08'00'' West a
distance of 197.61 feet to the Point of Beginning of this
description; thence continue South 00°08'00'' West a
distance of 281.22 feet; thence North 89°51'09" West a
distance of 240.00 feet; thence South 00°08'00" West a
distance of 285.00 feet; thence North 89°51'09# West a
distance of 544.45 feet; thence North 30°39'28" East a
distance of 423.96 feet; thence North 71°55'54" East a
distance of 441.21 feet; thence South 89°52'00" East a
distance of 149.99 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The subject property is located on the west side of Dover
Road, between Linton Boulevard and Sherwood Boulevard.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 23rd day of September , 1986.
