63-86 FAILED ORDINANCE NO. 63-86 AN ORDINANCE OF'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH , FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 30, "ZONING", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, BY AMENDING SECTION 30-6.5 "RM (MEDIUM TO MEDIUM HIGH DENSITY DWELLING) DISTRICT", (E) "AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA" TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE'FAMILY DWELLING UNITS; AMENDING SECTION 30-7 "PM-10 (MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT" , (E) "AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA" TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING UNITS; AMENDING SECTION 30-7.5 "RH (MEDIUM HIGH TO HIGH DENSITY DWELLING) DISTRICT", (E) "AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA" TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING UNITS; AMENDING SECTION 30-8 "PM-15 (MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT", (E) "AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA" TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING UNITS; AMENDING SECTION 30-8.7 "PO (RESIDENTIAL OFFICE) DISTRICT", (E) "AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA", (1) TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING UNITS; PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A GENERAL REPEALER CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDa, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Chapter 30, "Zoning", Section 30-6.5 "PM (Medium to Medium High Density D~elling) District", (E) "Aggregate Floor Area" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: (E) AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA The following shall be the minimum floor areas for all multiple family dwelling units, expressed as net living area, exclusive of balconies, decks, porches, and common areas such as corridors: (1) Efficiency 400 sq. ft. (2) One (1) bedroom &Q~-6q?~t~ 550 sq.ft. (3) Two (2) bedrooms @g~-e~.~%. 750 sq.ft. (4) Three (3) bedrooms ~g-~9-~- 900 s.q.ft. (5) Four (4) or more bedrooms ~0-69.~. 900. s,q.ft. + 150 sq. ft,. for each bedroom ov er three "Zoning" Section 30-7 "RH-iO Section 2. That should any section or provision of this ordinance or any' portion thereof, any paragraph, sentence, or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereo.f as a whole or part thereof other than the part declared to be invalid. Section 7. That all ordinances or parks of ordinances in conflict herewith 'b~ and the same are hereby repealed. Section 8.
