* 7. Ordinance No. 46-85 - Amendina Code - Community Redevelopment
Aaencv Creation. Second Reading and continuation of PUBLIC
HEARING amending Chapter 2 "Administration" of the Code of
Ordinances relative to the creation of the Community
Redevelopment Agency.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
* 8. Community Redevelopment Aaencv. PUBLIC HEARING on Resolution
No. 48-85 designating the Delray Beach City Council as the
Community Redevelopment Agency.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: To adopt the Resolution.
9. Ordinance No. 48-85 - Lukowski Annexation. Second Reading and
PUBLIC HEARING relative to annexing aD. 26-acre parcel subject
to RM-6 (Multiple Family Dwelling) District, located on the west
side of Florida Boulevard, approximately 125 feet south of LaMat
Avenue.
Recommendation: Planning Director recommends approval since
the request is consistent with the City 's
Land Use Plan.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.

* 12. Coarse Pa~er and Can Liners. Consider award of contracts to the
low bidders, Dade Paper, St. Lucie and Mutual Wholesale for
coarse paper and can liners in the estimated amount of
$12,287.83 to be used by all City departments during 1985/86.
Funds are to come from the various departmental accounts.
Recommendation: City Manager recommends approval.

* 13. Acceotance of Sanitary Sewers and Water Utilities. Resolution
No. 51-85 accepts sanitary sewers and water utilities as oper-
ational as recorded in the plat of Pelican Harbor North, Phase
II.

* 15. Annexation Request - Northwest Corner of Linton Boulevard and
S. W. lOth Avenue (Garfield). Resolution No. 53-85 requests
permission from the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners to
annex a 0.97-acre parcel, subject to POI '(Professional, Office
and Institutional) zoning district.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-1 (Carey
dissenting) .
Action: To adopt the Resolution.
* 16. Annexation Reauest - Northeast Corner of Lake Avenue South and
North Federal Hiahway (Brandt). Resolution No. 54-85 requests
permission from the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners to
annex a 0.422-acre parcel, subject to GC (General Commercial)
zoning district.
Recommendation: Planning Director recommends approval since
the request is consistent with the City's
Land Use Plan.
Action: To adopt the Resolution.

sider acceptance of a utility easement deed, dated January 31,

* 18. Ordinance. No. 56-85 - Chanain9 the City's Land Use Plan Desi9-
nation (Garfield). First Reading relative to changing the
City's Land Use Plan Designation in the Comprehensive Plan for a
0.97-acre parcel from SF (Single Family) to POI (Professional,
Office and Institutional) located at the northeast corner of
Linton Boulevard and S. W. 10th Avenue.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-1 (Carey
dissenting) .
Action: To pass the Ordinance on First Reading.
Note: If passed, Public Hearing July 9th.
* 19. Ordinance No. 57-85 Garfield Annexation. First Reading
relative to annexing a 0.97-acre parcel, subject to POI (Pro-
fessional, Office and Institutional) zoning distr ict, located at
the northwest corner of Linton Boulevard and S. W. 10th Avenue.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0 (Carey
dissenting) .

* 20. Ordinance No. 58-85 - Brandt Annexation. First Reading relative
to annexing a 0.422-acre parcel, subject to GC (General Com-
mercial) zoning district, located at the northeast corner of
Lake Avenue South and North Federal Highway.

the request is consistent with the City's
Land Use Plan.

* 21. Ordinance No. 59-85 - Amendin9 Code - Nuisances on Prooerty.
First Reading amending Chapter 13 "Health and Sanitation" of the
Code of Ordinances reducing the time from 14 days to 10 days for
owner(s) of land to remove the condition causing the nuisance on
the land.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: To pass the Ordinance on First Reading.

* 22. Ordinance No. 60-85 - Amendin9 Code - Fire Code Exemotions.
First Reading amending Chapter 11 "Fire Protection and Pre-
vention" of the Code of Ordinances to provide exemptions from
retroactive provisions of our Fire Codes other than the State
minimum code.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: To pass the Ordinance on First Reading.

* 23. Ordinance No. 61-85 - Amendin9 Code - Fire Hydrants. First
Reading amending Chapter 29 "Water and Sewers" of the Code of
Ordinances eliminating hydrant meters and upgrading the rates
for fire hydrant use.

* 25. Ordinance No. 63-85 - Amending Code - Board of Construction
Appeals Jurisdiction. First Reading amending Chapter 9
"Buildings and Construction" of the Code of Ordinances to con-
form the sections of the unsafe building ordinance which permits
appeals to the Board of Construction Appeals with the provisions
of Article XVII which set out the jurisdiction of the Board.
Recommendation: Council action.
