Action: Motion to award contract. * 16. Fire. and Police Uniforms and Accessor ies. Consider award of contracts to the following low bidders: LaMar for male uniforms and hardware; Dan Bricker for badges; Barker for police female uniforms; and Jones for leather goods. Funds are to come from the 1983-84 Police and Fire budgets. Recommendation: City Manager, Police Chief and Fire Chief recommend approval. Action: Motion to award contracts. * 17. 1983-84 Fuel Allocation. Consider award of contracts to the following low bidders: John Benke for premium, regular, unleaded and diesel fuels; and Flamingo Oil Company for oil. Funds are to come from the various departments' 1983-84 budgets. RecommendatiQn: City Manager and Purchasing Administrator recommend approval. Action: Motion to award contracts. * 18. Beach Showers. Consider award of a contract to Sparling Manufacturing Company, sole source, for 10 precast showers in the amount of $6,260.00, with funds to come from the 1983-84 Parks & Recreation budget. Consider site plan approval to allow all, 730 square foot addition to Delray Plaza, an existing shopping center and conditional use approval to allow alternate off-street parking. Action: Motion to declare that the property described in the 1948 lease has not been used by The Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach, Florida for any purpose for a reasonable period of time since the date of the lease (July 26, 1948), and that the City of Delray Beach needs this property for a worthy civic, public or charitable purpose, and that the lease is therefore declared terminated within ninety days of the date of said decision and notification. 27. Absentee Ballots for March 1984 Citv Election. Consider retaining Ernst & Whinney to perform an evaluation relative to apportioning the costs to be paid for with the proceeds of the Water & Sewer Bond Issue as well as the costs associated with the issue itself to current and potential users of the systems.
