7. Ordinance No. 13-84 - Shell Oil Company Annexation. Second
Reading and PUBLIC HEARING relative to annexing a 0.6-acre
parcel subject to GC (General Commercial). The property is
located at the southeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Congress
Avenue.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 7-0.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
8. Ordinance No. 15-84 Changing the City's Land Use Plan
Designation. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING rela ti ve to
changing the City's Land Use Plan Designation in the
Comprehensive Plan for a parcel of land located at the
southeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Congress Avenue (Shell
Oil Company).
Recommendation: Planning & zoning Board approved 7-0.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
9. Ordinance No. 23-84 - U1?datina Life Safe tv Code from 1976 to
l.2Jl..l.. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING amending Chapter 11
"Fire Protection and prevention" of the Code of Ordinances
updating the life safety code from 1976 to 1981.
Recommendation: Fire Chief recommends approval.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.

the low bidder, Lanzo Construction Company, in the amount of
$743,500 for two water treatment plant filters, with funds to
come from the 1983 Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds.

approval.
Action: Motion to award contract.

Conditional Use Approval - Shell Oil Station. Consider request
for conditional use approval to allow the addition of a pump
island and canopy at the Shell Oil Station, located at the
southeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Congress Avenue.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 7-0,
subject to conditions stated in the attached
memorandum.
Action: Motion to approve.
16. Wine and Cheese Party. Consider request by the Delray Affair
Committee of the Chamber of Commerce for use of the Adult
Recreation Center for a wine and cheese party on April 28th and
Apr il 29th for the purpose of purchasing new holiday street
decorations.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: Motion to approve.

Rezoning Request - South of Gulfstream Boulevard between North
Federal Hiahway and Dixie Highwav (Jaha Chicken). Resolution
No. 27-84 requests permission from the Palm Beach County Board
of Commissioners to rezone land to be annexed from CG (General
Commercial) (County) to GC (General Commercial) (City) .
Recommendation: Planning Director recommends approval.
Action: To adopt the Resolution.

18. Appointment - Code Enforcement Board. Consider appointment of
Donald Dilley to the unexpired term of Oral C. Craft on the
Code Enforcement Board to a term ending January 14, 1986.
Recommendation: Council action.
Action: Motion to appoint Board member.
19. Appointments - Civil Service Board. Consider appointments of
Virginia Cady and Leonard Syrop to the Civil Service Board to
terms ending April 1, 1986.

Ordinance No. 21-84 Zoning Ordinance Amendment Non-
impactina Site Plan Modifications. First Reading amending
Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the Code of Ordinances to allow
administrative approval of non-impacting site plan
modifications. The proposed amendments will also establish a
$100 fee for minor site plan modifications.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0.
