Campbell, III as Chairman of the Board of Trustees to replace former Mayor Young. Recommendation: Council action. Action: Motion to approve. 16. Ratification - Human the appointments of Joseph Martin on the March 15, 1986. Relations Committee. Consider ratifying Carolyn Cunningham, Roger Saberson and Human Relations Committee to terms ending Recommendation: Chamber of Commerce recommends approval. Action: Motion to ratify appointments. 17. Acceotance of Easement Deed - S. E. 7th Street. Consider acceptance of a utility easement deed from Delmar G. Hendrickson to install, operate and maintain raw water lines and potable water lines at S. E. 7th Street Extension off Swinton. Recommendation: Public utilities Director recommends ap- proval. Action: Motion to accept deed. 18. Ratification of South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disoosal Board Action of March 28th. Consider ratification of SCRWTD Board Resolution No. 84-1 relative to an employee retirement benefit plan. Recommendation: SCRWTD Board approved 8-0. Action: Motion to ratify action. Consider award of a contract to the low bidder, Dictaphone Corporation, in the amount of $12,233 for a generator recorder to be used in the Fire Department, with funds to come from the Fire Department Equipment Fund. Action: Motion to approve. Works/City Engineer Final Plat Approval Southeast Investments Plat No. One. Consider request for final plat approval for Southeast Invest- ments Plat No. One, a proposed industrial development, located south of the E-4 Canal, between Depot Road and the Seaboard Airline Railroad. Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 7-0. Action: Motion to approve. Site Plan Modification - Seacrest Hotel. Consider request for modification to the approved plan for the Seacrest Hotel to allow an addition of a partial sixth story to be used as a restaurant. Resolution No. 28-84 vacates and abandons streets located south of S. E. 10th Street, between Miami Boulevard and Federal Highway. Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0. Action: To adopt the Resolution. Moni tor ing the Beach Erosion Control proj ect. Resolution No. 29-84 authorizes the submittal of an application to the State Department of Natural Resources requesting funds for the yearly monitoring, biological monitoring and implementation of the dune study which is in progress. The estimated project cost is $130,000, with 75% ($97,500) from State sources and 25% ($32,500) from local sources. The City's portion will come from the erosion control fund. Recommendation: Director of Public recommends approval. Action: To adopt the Resolution. Works/City Engineer Sanitary Sewers and Water Utilities. Resolution No. 30-84 accepts sanitary sewers and water utilities as operational as recorded in the plat of Pelican Harbor North. Recommendation: Director of Public Utilities recommends ap- proval. Action: To adopt the Resolution. Sanitary Sewers and Water utilities. Resolution No. 31-84 accepts sanitary sewers and water utilities as operational as recorded in the plat of Rainberry Bay, Section 7. Recommendation: Public utilities Director recommends ap- proval. Action: To adopt the Resolution. Nuisance Abatement. Resolution No. 32-84 assesses costs on 12 properties in accordance with Sections 13-12 and 13-13 of the Code. Recommendation: City Clerk recommends approval. Action: To adopt the Resolution. REGULAR AGENDA Water Service Outside City - Slavin Rentals. Inc. Consider execution of water service agreement between the City and Jeff Slavin for property located at the northwest corner of Georgia Street and Lime Lane. The proposed use of the property is for service and repair, parts, parking and storage, salvage and junk yard, paint, body and frame shop for automobiles and trucks. Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0. Action: Motion to approve. Offer to Purchase Surplus City Property. Consider offer to purchase surplus City property located south of West Atlantic Avenue and east of NEW Homewood Boulevard for $133,500 by Allerton and Associates, Inc. Recommendation: Council action. Ordinance No. 27-84 - Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Telephone Switching Stations. First Reading, amending Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the Code of Ordinances to allow telephone switching stations in all zoning districts. Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 4-0.
