7. Ordinance No. 55-84 - Zonina Ordinance Amendment - Special Set-
back Requirements. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING amending
Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the Code of Ordinances relative to
establishing a setback of 30 feet on both sides of Linton
Boulevard, 30 feet on both sides of Congress Avenue and 30 feet
on both sides of Military Trail.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 5-0.
Action: To adopt th~Ordinance on Second Reading.
8. Ordinance No. 85-84 - Pa-per Annexation. Second Reading and
PUBLIC HEARING relative to annexing a 2.28-acre parcel, subject
to POI (Professional, Office and Industr ial Distr ict), located
on the north side of West Atlantic Avenue, between High Point
Boulevard and The Hamlet Shoppes.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
9. Ordinance No. 86-84 - Changing the City's Land Use Plan Desig-
nation (Paper). Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING relative to
changing the City's Land Use Plan Designation in the Compre-
hensive Plan for a 2.28-acre parcel of land located on the
north side of West Atlantic Avenue, between High Point
Boulevard and The Hamlet Shoppes.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0.
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
10. Ordinance No. 87-84 - The Commons Rezonina. Second Reading and
PUBLIC HEARING relative to rezoning a 4.67-acre parcel of land
from SAD (Special Acti vi ties Distr ict) to POI (Professional,
Office and Institutional District), located on the north side
of West Atlantic Avenue, between High Point Boulevard and The
Hamlet Shoppes.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0.

11. Ordinance No. 88-84 - Changing the City's Land Use Plan Desig-
nation (The Commonsl. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING
relati ve to changing the City's Land Use Plan Designation in
the Comprehensive Plan for a 4.67-acre parcel of land located
on the north side of West Atlantic Avenue, between High Point
Boulevard and The Hamlet Shoppes.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-0.

12. Ordinance No. 89-84 - Greenberg Rezoning. Second Reading and
PUBLIC HEARING relative to rezoning a 0.43-acre parcel of land
from RM-15 (Multiple Family Dwelling) to LI (Light Indus-
trial) . The property is located at the northeast corner of
S. W. 15th Avenue and S. W. 8th Street.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-1 (Wallin

13. Ordinance No. 90-84 - Changina the City's Land Use Plan Desig-

to Changing the City's Land Use Plan Designation in the

northeast corner of S. W. 15th Avenue and S. W. 8th Street.

16. Ordinance No. 96-84 - Amending Code - Train Whistles/Horn Noise
Control. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING amending Chapter 16
"Offenses - Miscellaneous. of the Code of Ordinances prohibit-
ing railroad train whistles/horn noise between the hours of
10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Recommendation: Council action.

* 17. Ordinance-No. 98-84 - Zoning Ordinance Amendment - CBD (Central
Business Districtl Site Plan Approval. Second Reading and
PUBLIC HEARING amending Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the Code of
Ordinances to require site plan approval for all new con-
struction and additions in the CBD 3,000 square feet or
greater.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 5-1 (Simon
dissenting) .
Action: To adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
18. Ordinance No. 99-84 - Zoning Ordinance Amendment - CBD (Central
Business Districtl Parkina and Loadina Reaulations. Second
Reading and PUBLIC HEARING amending Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the
Code of Ordinances to delete the requirement of providing
minimum number of off-street parking spaces when no building or
structure is increased in capacity.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-1 (Wallin
dissenting) .

19. Ordinance No. 100-84 Zonina Ordinance Amendment CBD
(Central Business Districtl Parking Regulations. Second Read-
ing and PUBLIC HEARING amending Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the Code
of Ordinances relative to parking regulations governing
development in the downtown area.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 6-1 (Wallin
dissenting) .

contract to the low bidder, Bob's Mowing and Land Clearing.
The second vendor to be called when Bob's is already committed
to a project or unable to respond is Walcott and Sons, the
second low bidder. Funds are to come from the General Fund.
Recommendation: Director of Development and Inspection/CBO
recommends approval.

25. Continuous Computer Paper. Consider award of a contract to the
low bidder, Better Business Forms, the current vendor, in the
amount of approximately $10,000 for 1984/85. Funding will come
from various departments.
Recommendation: City Manager recommends approval.

26. Vehicle for Police Department. Consider award of a contract to
Dan Burns Oldsmobile for one 1985 Olds Delta 88 in the amount
of $11,510. Funds are io come from the Police Department Un-
appropriated Fund balance in Law Enforcement Trust Account.

Ordinance No. 102-84 - Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Definition
of Setbacks. First Reading amending Chapter 30 "Zoning" of the
Code of Ordinances to provide that setbacks may also be taken
from the boundary lines of a building site joined by a Unity of
Title.

Conformina Structures. First Reading amending Chapter 30
"Zoning" of the Code of Ordinances to clarify the application
of non-conforming restrictions to the enlargement of any
portion of a structure that extends above the maximum height.
