PUBLIC HEARING
* 8. Garbalte and Trash Service. PUBLIC HEARING for determining
the type of garbage and trash service to be provided to the
various areas of the City
Recommendation: Council action.
* 9. Ordinance No. 24-8~ - Homewood and Atlantic Rezoninlt. Sec-
ond Reading and PUBLIC HEARING relative to rezoning to RM-6
(Multiple Family Dwelling) District approval. The property
is located at the southeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and
the recently realigned Homewood Boulevard.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board recommended
denial.
Action: Motion to adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
* 10. Ordinance No. 2~-8~ - Chanltinlt the Citv's Land Use Plan
Desiltnation. Second Reading and PUBLIC HEARING relative to
changing the City's Land Use Plan Designation in the Compre-
hensive Plan for a parcel of land located at the southeast
corner of Atlantic Avenue and the recently realigned Home-
wood Boulevard from SF (Single Family) to MF (Multiple
Family).
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board recommended
denial.
Action: Motion to adopt the Ordinance on Second Reading.
CONSENT AGENDA
11. Ratification of South Central Reltional Wastewater Treatment
and Disoosal Board Action of Aoril 27. lq8~. Consider rati-
fication of SCRWTD Board action to prepare all plans and to
take all steps necessary to assume operation of the South
Central Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant as soon as
possible.
Recommendation: SCRWTD Board approved 8-0.
Action: Motion to ratify action.
* 12. Develooers Utilitv Service Altreement - Centex Homes of
Florida. Inc. Consider approval of agreement between the
City and Centex Homes of Florida, Inc. for water and sewer
service to Villas of Rainberry Lakes (Phase IV-B).
$1,300.00 ($62.50 per living unit for sewer and $37.50 per
living unit for water = $100.00 per 13 living units) will be
paid to the City at a time spelled out in the agreement.
Recommendation: Public Utilities Director recommends ap-
proval.
Action: Motion to approve and authorize execution of
agreement.
* 13. Final Plat Aooroval - Branch Bank of Lantana. Consider
final plat approval for Branch Bank of Lantana, located at
the northwest corner of Congress Avenue and Linton Boule-
vard.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved unani-
mously.
Action: Motion to approve final plat.
* 14. Citv Hall Proiect - Renovations to First Floor Bathrooms.
Consider approval of Change Order for Cox and Palmer to
renovate the bathrooms and extend the water line in the
amount of $5,114.00 and authorize Myers Plumbing to re-
move and replace plumbing fixtures and replace with new
trim in the amount of $1,811.10.
Recommendation: City Hall Building Committee.
Action: Motion to approve.

abating nuisances for 28 properties in accordance with
Section 27-15. These are delinquent lethal yellowing ac-
counts and this places a lien on the properties.
Recommendation: City Clerk recommends approval.
Action: Motion to adopt the Resolution.

abating nuisance for 27 properties in accordance with
Section 27-15. These are delinquent lethal yellowing ac-
counts and this places a lien on these properties.

44-83 approves the designation of an enterprise zone with-

Beach County Board of Commissioners to levy the 4~ trans-

* 20. Conditional Use - West Park Baotist Church. Consider ap-
proval of conditional use for West Park Baptist Church,
located east of Barwick Road, between Lake Ida Road and
Boulevard Chatelaine.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved 5-1

* 21. Waiver Reouest relative to Woodlake Homeowners' Association.

Recommendation: City Attorney recommends approval.
Action: Motion that the City, through the City Council,
is waiving any rights it might have with respect
to the provisions contained in Declaration of
Covenants and Restrictions for Homewood Lakes
relative to requiring City consent for further
amendments of these documents.

sider appointment of a member of the Board of Trustees
(Police and Fire) to a term ending April 22, 1986.

* 25. Aooointment - Internal Audit Committee. Consider appoint-
ments of three members of the Internal Audit Committee to
terms ending April 27, 1985.
Recommendation: Council action.

26. Discussion of Landscaoe and Bike Path Restoration alonlt Lake

relative to annexing a 0.288-acre parcel of land located at

Ordinance No. ~1-8~ - Jenkins Annexation. First Reading
relative to annexing a 0.386 parcel of land located north
of Lake Shore Drive, between N. W. 8th Avenue and N. W.
6th Avenue, subject to R-IAA (Single Family Dwelling)
District.
Recommendation: Planning Director recommends approval.

Ordinance No. ~2-8~ - Rezoninlt. Land Use Plan Amendment.
Conditional Use. Site and Develooment Plan Aooroval -
Conltress Park South. First Reading relative to changing
the City's Land Use Plan designation in the Comprehensive
Plan for a 24.25~acre parcel of land from PRD-4 (Planned
Residential-4 units/acre) to PCC (Planned Commerce Center),
rezoning the subject property, conditional use, site and
development plan approval to allow office and research
facilities and light manufacturing. The property is
located south of Atlantic Avenue, between the E-4 Canal
and Congress Avvenue.
Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved unani-
mously, subject to conditions in the
attached memorandum.
Action: To pass the Ordinance on First Readiing.
Note: If passed, Public Hearing May 24th.
