AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED
RM-15 (MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT IN SC
(SPECIALIZED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, ALL OF LOTS 34 TO 44,
INCLUSIVE OF BLOCK 36, PLUS THE SOUTH 48 FEET OF AVENUE C
LYING ADJACENT TO SAID LOTS VACATED BY OR 1765, P 547,
ALL BEING A PORTION OF DEL RATON PARK SUBDIVISION AS THE
SAME IS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 14, PAGE 9, OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. SAID LAND IS
LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FLORIDA BOULEVARD, BETWEEN
TROPIC BOULEVARD AND AVENUE C, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1983".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described proPerty in the City
of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the SC
(Specialized Commercial) District as defined in Chapter 30 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit:
All of Lots 34 to 44, inclusive of Block 36, plus the
South 48 feet of Avenue C lying adjacent to said lots
vacated by OR 1765, P 547, all being a portion of DEL
RATON PARK subdivision as the same is recorded in Plat
Book 14, at Page 9 of the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida.
The subject property is located on the west side of
Florida Boulevard, between Tropic Boulevard and Avenue C.
The above-described parcel contains a 0.853 acre parcel
of land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1, hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 25thday of November , 1986.
