AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN
DESIGNATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF
LAND IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM I-INDUSTRIAL TO
C-COMMERCIAL. THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON THE
NORTH SIDE OF WEST ATLANTIC AVENUE, BETWEEN INTERSTATE 95
AND THE SEABOARD AIRLINE RAILROAD; AMENDING THE LAND USE
PLAN, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property
is as follows:
Parcel 8
A parcel of land lying in Section 18, Township 46 South,
Range 43 East, City of Delray Beach, Palm Beach County,
Florida, said parcel being more particularly described as
follows;
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 18;
thence with a bearing of S. 0o30'00'' E., along the East
line of Section 18, a distance of 690.00 feet to a point;
thence with a bearing of S. 89030'00'' W., a distance of
264.00 feet to a point; thence with a bearing of S.
00o30'00'' E., along a line lying 264.00 feet West of and
parallel to the East line of Section 18, a distance of
670.10 feet to a point; thence with a bearing of N.
89°17'11'' W., a distance of 182.85 feet to the Point of
Beginning; thence with a bearing of S. 00o30'00'' E., a
distance of 456.66 feet to a point; thence with a bearing
of S. 13o30'39'' E., a distance of 182.01 feet to a point;
thence with a curve concave to the Southwest, having an

to easements and rights-of-way of record.

to easements and rights-of-way of record.
The subject property is located on the north side of West
Atlantic Avenue, between Interstate 95 and the Seaboard
Airline Railroad.
The above-described parcel contains a 1.656 acre parcel
of land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to C-Commercial.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land use Plan of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage on second and final reading.
