AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED
MI (MEDIUM INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT IN GC (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, A PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING IN
SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA. SAID LAND IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF WEST ATLANTIC AVENUE, BETWEEN INTERSTATE 95 AND THE
SEABOARD AIRLINE RAILROAD, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1983".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property in the City
of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the GC
(General Commercial) District as defined in Chapter 30 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit:
Parcel 8
A parcel of land lying in Section 18, Township 46 South,
Range 43 East, City of Delray Beach, Palm Beach County,
Florida, said parcel being more particularly described as
follows;
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 18;
thence with a bearing of S. 0o30'00'' E., along the East
line of Section 18, a distance of 690.00 feet to a point;
thence with a bearing of S. 89o30'00'' W., a distance of
264.00 feet to a point; thence with a bearing of S.

to easements and rights-of-way of record.

The subject property is located on the north side of West
Atlantic Avenue, between Interstate 95 and the Seaboard
Airline Railroad.
The.above-described parcel contains a 1.656 acre parcel
of land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1, hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon passage on second and final reading.
