Rezoning Request - East of Military Trail, between Lake Ida Road and Atlantic Avenue (Lake Worth Drainage District and Pylon Medical Associates, Ltd., applicants). Resolution No. 111-82 requests permission from the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners to rezone land to be annexed from CS (Specialized Commercial) Dis- trict (County) to MF-6 (Multiple Family Dwelling) District (City). Recommendation: Planning & Zoning Board approved unanimously. Action: Motion to adopt the Resolution. 23. Sale of Christmas Trees. Consider request from the Sunrise Kiwanis Club to sell Christmas trees at S. E. 1st Street and S. E. 6th Avenue. Recommendation: City Manager recommends approval. Action: Motion to approve request. REGULAR AGENDA * 24. Drainage and Seawall Problems - Mrs. Boyce Martin, 501 Palm Trail. Consider authorizing securing of bids to repair a drainage problem involving rain water flowing onto the property and a seawall being undermined along the Intracoastal Waterway at a cost of $4,200, with funds to come from the contingency account. Extending City Operation of Sewage Treatment Plant. Resolution No. 112-82, amends Resolution No. 103-82 extending the City operation of the Sewage Treatment Plant to April 1, 1983. Recommendation: Council action. Action: Motion to adopt the Resolution. 26. $4 Million Water and Sewer Revenue Bond. Resolution No. 113-82 authorizes the issuance of a $4 Million Water and Sewer Revenue Bond, Series 1983. (Resolution is being prepared by New York Bond Counsel and had not been received when the agenda was pre- pared.) Consider authoriz- ing the award of a contract to Jones Equipment Company in the amount of $3,995 for Breathalyzer Model 2000, with funds to come from the 1982-83 budget. Recommendation: City Manager and Police Chief recommend ap- proval. Action: Motion to award the contract to the low bidder, Jones Equipment Company. 29. Walkie/Talkie Radios - Police Department. Consider authorizing the award of a contract to Motorola Communication & Electronics, Inc. in the amount of $11,935 for ten Walkie/Talkie radios with accessories, with funds to come from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
