AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN
DESIGNATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF
LAND LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH,
RANGE 43 EAST, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM SF
(SINGLE FAMILY) TO C (COMMERCIAL). THE SUBJECT PROPERTY
IS LOCATED NORTH OF GEORGIA STREET, SOUTH OF S.W. 10TH
STREET AND WEST OF S.W. 9TH AVENUE; AMENDING THE LAND USE
PLAN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property
is as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south right-of-way line of
S.W. llth Street, 311.2 feet west of the intersection of
said south right-of-way line with the west right-of-way
of S.W. 9th Avenue, then proceed south perpendicular to
said south right-of-way line to its intersection with the
projection of the center line of the right-of-way of
Georgia Street, then proceed westward along said center
line projection to the east right-of-way line of
Germantown Road, then proceed northeastward along said
east right-of-way line to the south right-of-way line of
S.W. llth Street, then proceed eastward along said south
right-of-way line to the Point of Beginning.
Along with
Lots 12 through 16 of Esquire Subdivision, as recorded in
Plat Book 23, Page 43 of the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida, and the right-of-way of S.W. llth Street
fronting Lot 16 of Esquire Subdivision.
The subject property is located north of Georgia Street,
south of S.W. 10th Street and west of S.W. 9th Avenue.
Section 2. That' the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to C (Commercial).
Section 3. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land use Plan of Delray
Beach, Florida, to.conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately after passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 30th day of December , 1986.
