DELRAY BEACH CITY COUNCIL
Pursuant to Section 3.07 of the City Charter of the
City of Delray Beach, Florida, Mayor Leon M. Weekes has
instructed me to advise you of a Special Meeting to be held
in the Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November l7,
1981.
This meeting has been called for the purpose of:
(1) Considering adoption of revised budget for
City Attorney's Office.
(2) Considering settlement in E & R Products, Inc.
versus City of Delray Beach and City of Delray
Beach versus Edward W. Reisig and E & R Products,Inc.

Salary and Fringe Benefits For City Attorney
Salary: Herb Thiele
$35,000
1. Entry date for vacation and sick leave would be Novem~ '
ber 1, 1979 at the time he was employed as the Assistant
City Attorney thus providing an accural of 12 days vaca-
tion and 12 days of sick leave.
2. The City Attorney would not be included in the City Re-
tirement System. The City would pay 8% of his salary to
ICMA Retirement Corporation. This is the same % as for
other City employees.
3. The City Attorney would be entitled to a cost of living
increase as received by other City employees as well as
a merit increase as established by the City Council.
Legal secretary would have same benefits as other City employ-
ees and salary at entry would be Grade 18, salary range
$12,718-$17,893 depending on experience.
