Weekes has instructed me to advise you of a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P. M., Monday, February 4, 1980. This meeting has been called for the purpose of: Considering passage of Resolution No. 14-80 regarding the Boca Raton High School funding. zabeth Arnau ty Clerk - \ ( I " il Ii , :1 'I ;1 , I 'I j Ii " :1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, ! has received a request from a member of the City Council of the City of I Boca Raton for support in seeking advance funding of the proposed high i school to be built in Boca Raton; and, RESOLUTION NO. 14-80 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING ITS SUPPORT AND URGING SUPPORT FOR ADVANCE FUNDING FOR THE PROPOSED HIGH SCHOOL TO BE BUILT IN BOCA RATON. i WHEREAS, such advance funding of the proposed new high school II is greatly needed to alleviate the serious overcrowding that currently lexists at Boca Raton High School; and, I i WHEREAS, many of the students who attend Boca Raton High School , I are residents of the City of Delray Beach, Florida; and, I. il ~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, il wishes to express its support for the efforts to seek such advance funding ~Of the proposed new high school, ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY II OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: " :1 Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, 'Florida, on behalf of the residents and citizens of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, hereby expresses its support for the efforts to obtain advance funding for the proposed high school to be built in Boca Raton. ii , Section 2.
