ORDINANCE NO. 50-85
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN DESIG-
NATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF LAND
LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE
43 EAST FROM I-INDUSTRIAL TO C-COMMERCIAL. SAID LAND IS
LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF ATLANTIC AVENUE AND
CONGRESS AVENUE; AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property is
as follows:
The following described tracts as found in the Northeast Quarter,
Section 18, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, more particularly
described as follows:
The West 160 feet of the East 280 feet of that portion of the
West 5/8 of the North ½ of the South % of the NE % lying east of
Congress Avenue (less S 185 ft. & N 25 ft.);
And together with the NE % of the SW % of the SE % of the NE %
(less E 20 ft., N 25 ft. RD R/W & NLY 133.18 ft. of S 206 ft. of
ELY 129 ft.);
And together with Part of the S % of the NE % lying east of the
E-4 Canal in O.R. Book 1948, Page 1585;
And together with the East 100 ft. of the SE % of the SW % of the
SE % of the NE % (less S 285.5 ft. & E 20 ft. RD R/W) in O.R.
Book 862, Page 422;
And together with the West 80 ft. of the East 100 ft. of the
North 100 ft. of the South 285.5 ft. of the SW % of the SE % of
the NE %;
And together with the SE % of the SW ¼ of the SE % of the NE ¼
(less E 20 ft. RD R/W, E 100 ft. of N 100 ft. of S 285.5 ft., E

And together with the North 85 ft. of the South 185 ft. of the
West 500 ft. of the East 620 ft. of the West 5/8 of the North ½
of the South % of the NE % E of Congress Avenue;
And together with the South 100 ft. of the West 500 ft. of the
East 620 ft. of the West 5/8 of the North ½ of the South % of the
NE ¼ lying east of and adjacent to Congress Avenue R/W;
And together with the West ½ of the NE % of the NE % of the SE %
W of RY & N of SR 806 & the SE % of the SE % of the NE -~ W of RY
& N of SR 806 (less W 20 ft. & 2 ft. 1-95 R/W lying adjacent to
the north line of SR 806).
The subject property is located at the northeast corner of
Atlantic Avenue And Congress Avenue.
The above-described parcel contains a 7.68 acre parcel of land,
more or less.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to C-Commercial.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land Use Plan of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof~
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
