ORDINANCE NO. 51-85
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN DESIG-
NATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF LAND
LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE
43 EAST FROM I-INDUSTRIAL TO C-COMMERCIAL. SAID LAND IS
LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF
ATLANTIC AVENUE AND CONGRESS AVENUE; AMENDING THE LAND
USE PLAN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property is
as follows:
The following described tracts as found in Section 18,
Township 46 South, Range 43 East, more particularly
described as follows:
North 50 feet of the West ½ of the NW% of the NEb of the
SE¼ lying north of New SR 806 (less W 53 feet road right-
of-way); And together with the East ½ of the NW% of the
NEb of the SE% lying north and adjacent to New SR 806
(less 1-95 right-of-way in ORB 2190 at Page 393).
The subject property is located at the northeast corner
of the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Congress
Avenue.
The above-described parcel contains a 0.51 acre parcel of
land, more or less.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to C-Commercial.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land Use Plan of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
