Ord No. 26-18 ORDINANCE NO. 26-18 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEAQ-1,FLORIDA,AMENDING CHAPTER 35, "EMPLOYEE POLICIES AND BENEFITS", BY REPEALING "PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RELATIONS", SECTIONS 35.030 THROUGH 35.041 IN ITS ENTIRETY; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS,it is the desire of the CityCommissionof the City of Delray Beach,Florida,to dissolve the Public Employee Relations Commission,also known as Mini-PERC;and WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City Commission to permit the State of Florida Public Employees Relations Commission to assume the responsibilities of the Mini-PERC, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the adoption of this ordinance in the best interests of the health,safety,and welfare of the citizens and the public at-large.
