AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN DESIG-
NATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR A PARCEL OF LAND
LOCATED IN THE WEST ½ OF THE SOUTH~ST ~ OF SECTION 18,
TO%~SHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, LOCATED AT THE SOUTH-
EAST CORNER OF ATLANTIC AVENUE AND THE RECENTLY REALIGNED
HOMEWOOD BOULEVARD FROM SF (SINGLE FAMILY) TO MF-6 (MUL-
TIPLE FAMILY); AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELR~Y BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the legal description of the subject property is
as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 2, Golfview
Estates, according to the plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 24, Page 50, of the Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida; thence run on an assumed bearing
of S 00°03'46"E 300.00 feet to the southeast corner of
Lot 4 of said Golfview Estates; thence run S 89°56'14"~
206.77 feet along the south line of said Lot 4 and a
westerly extension thereof to a point on a curve, said
curve being the east right-of-way line of relocated
Homewood Boulevard; thence run northwesterly along said
east right-of-way line, being a curve concave to the
southwest, having a radius of 390.00 feet, a central
angle of 12°16'08'', a chord bearing of N 37°30'01"W, for
an arc distance of 83.51 feet to a point of reverse cur-
vature; thence run northwesterly along said east right-
of-way line, being a curve concave to the northeast,
having a radius of 360.00 feet and a central angle of
43°34'19", for an arc distance of 273.77 feet to a point
of tangency; thence run N 00°03'46"W 69.96 feet along
said relocated east right-of-way line to a point of
intersection with the south right-of-way line of the 106
foot right-of-way of Atlantic Avenue; thence run N 84~13'
33"E 207.65 feet along said south right-of-way line to a
point on the west line of Lot 1 of said Golfview Estates;
thence run S 00~03'46"E 104.94 feet along said west line
of Lot 1 to the northwest corner of Lot 2 of said Golf-
view Estates; thence run N 89~56'14"E 150.00 feet along
the north line of said Lot 2 to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 2.55 acres, more or less.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject
property in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is
hereby changed to MF-6 Multiple Family.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of the City of Delray
Beach shall, upon the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land
Use Plan of Delray Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final reading
