COUNCIL CHAMBER
Febnuary 17th, 1945
The Council met in Special Session at eleven 0' clock
A.M. on call of the Mayor, for the purpose of considering a
proposal of Mr. Burwell Smith, and for any other matters of
business which might need the action of the Council at this
time. All members of the City Councilr;c and the City Attorney
were present.
The City Attorney explained the various changes in the
new agreement, and members of the Council discussed these with
Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Councilman Jacobs ~oved that the Town of Gulf Str~ataK
or any other outisde water 'consumer, be given the same pi-i';;
veledge on buying surplus water, as is gliven any other dis-
trict. Councilman White seconded the motion which carried
unanimously on roll call.
Councilman Waters moved that agreement of Smitp, s be
accepted, and that the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to
execute it for the, City. Councilman White seconded the motion
which carried unanimously on roll call.
Ci ty Attorney Nowlin read in full specifications for
roads which have been built in Seagate, and which will be used
for i'Uture road building, providing SaJlll ,meets with the
approval of the City Engineer.
The Clerk was instructed to sign plat of 'Palmetto
Square sID' which the Council accepted by motion regularly
made, seconded and carried.
There being no further business to CO/11f! before the
Council, Council adjourned.
