The Council met in special session at 7:30 P.M.
on call of the Mayor, for the purpose of hearing a re-
quest from Mr. J. R. McFee, and for any other matters
o~ business which might need the action of the Council
at this time. All members of City Council, and Ci~y
Attorney Nowlin were present.
Marshall Woods, Attorney representing Mr. McFee,
addressed the Council and discussed with them the set-
.back question on Mr. McFee's new bakery building.
Mr. McFee assured the Council he did not intentionally
violate the city ordinance. After thoroughly discussing
the matter, Mr. White moved that a temporary permit be
issued Mr. Mc.l!'ee for the erection of that portion of the
building on the sough five feet of lot 6 block 92, witk~
the understanding that an agreement beentered into be-
tween Mr. McFee ,and wife, as owners of the property, and
the city, that the building on this five foot portion
will be torn down at the owners expe~se, upon the request
of the council and upon the adjoining building on the
east being set back a similar distance of five feet or
more. Mr. DeWitt seconded the motion and on roll call
the vote was as follows: Mr. DeWit~ yesi,'Mr~ lacrubstyaa.

motion carried.
By motion regularly made, seconded and unanimously
oarried, victor Cnoft was appointed acting bUilding in-
speotor.

The Clerk was instructed to issue occupational
license to ~rank A. Beever for Plumbing Contractor.
