11-02-45 Special IJ;r~22 r,_dlLJl COUNCIL CHAMBER November 2nd, 1945 The Council met in Special session at 1:30 P.U. for the purpose of opening bids on improvements to the water plant, and for any other matters of business which mi~ht need the action of the Council at this time. All members of the City Council, the City Attorney, and the consulting engineers, Smith & Gillespie were present. 1'r. Gillespie opened and read the following bids: Gable Construction Co., Jacksonville, Division #1. $79,000 Division #2 $56,514.80 If awarded both division #1 and division It 2, a deduction of $2,500. Byrd reprESenting t:lE town of Gulf Jtream asked the Council to consider a plan whereby uelray Beach could furnish wster to Gulf Stream, under a 20 year contract or a franchise.
