COUNCIL CHAMBER
November 2nd, 1945
The Council met in Special session at 1:30 P.U.
for the purpose of opening bids on improvements to the
water plant, and for any other matters of business which
mi~ht need the action of the Council at this time.
All members of the City Council, the City Attorney,
and the consulting engineers, Smith & Gillespie were
present. 1'r. Gillespie opened and read the following bids:

Attorney C. Y. Byrd reprESenting t:lE town of Gulf
Jtream asked the Council to consider a plan whereby
uelray Beach could furnish wster to Gulf Stream, under
a 20 year contract or a franchise. The Council turned
this matter over to the engineers for study and advise.
In order to further study the financial angles the
Council adjourned until 10 A.~. november 3rd.
