The Council met in Special Session at 7:30 pm on
call of the Mayor for the purpose of canvassing the rsturns
from the Primary Election, -.vithche foll:Jwing members
present: Mr. DeWitt, Mr. Jacobs, Mr. Thayer, Mr. i/hite,
and Attorney Nowlin. Mr. Naters \Vas absent.
In conformity with Se ction 137 of the City Charter,
the Council then proceeded to canvass the returns of the--
Primary Election held November 20th.

It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the
Ballot box be opened for the canvassing of the election
returns. The election returns, as m~de to the Mayor and
the City Clerk, were submitted for Jhe Council's approval,
and it was move~ by Mr. Jacobs that certification of the
Election Board of the following election returns be accepted.

and that the names of B. C. Butler, C. W. Hill and Fred B.
McNeece be placed on the General Election Ballot. Mr.
DeNitt seconded the m"tion which carried unanimously on
roll call.
It was regularly moved, seconded and unanimously
carried that the same officials be appointed on the General
Election Board as served on the Prlinary Election Board.
The Mayor 'N8t~ authorized to publish proclamation for General
Election to be held December 4th, 1945.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, Council adjourned.
