FLORIDA, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 496 ENTITLED "AN QRDINANCE
OF THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, nOR IDA ,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 152 ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE SALE AND DISTin13UTION OF WATER FURNISHED, PROVIDING FOR A
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE CHARGE FOR SERVICE RENDERED TO OWNERS
AND CONSUMERS BY THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, nORIDA; REGULATING
THE RXTES THERE:FOfl~ AND REGULATING THE MANNER IN WHICH IVATER
CONNECTIONS AND METERS SHALL BE FtJRNISHED AND PROVIDING PENALTIES

THE MANNER IN WHICH WATER CONNECTIONS AND METERS SHALL BE
FURNISHED AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF;
CREATION OF LIENS lj'OR PAST AND UNPAID ACCOUNTS; AND REPEALING
ALL ORDlNANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH",
AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF MONEY HERETOP'OIlE PAID TO
THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH UNDER THE PROVISION OF SECTION 7 OF
SAID ORDINANCE AS AMENDED.

By motion duly made and seconded the Ordinance was passed on
its second reading.
Mr. WOdischek requested the Council to allow the
Delray Canning Center free water for the present canning season.
By motion regularly made, seconded and carried it Was decided
to alloW the Delray Canning Center free water as leng as they
need it, cost of same to be abated. .
Mayor Thayer requested the members of the Council to
meet with Mr. wm. C. Bengel, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o,clock
for the purpose of discussing proposed repairs to City water
tanks. The Clerk was instructed to wire Mr. Bengel .to this
effect.
Councilman McFee stated that the high school boys who
were colle ctingpaperfor the paper drive were badly in need of
ass is tance in bringing the paper to the it' storage place. He
suggested the City allow one of their piok-up trucks with drivel',
and, if possible the fire ohief allow a man for an hour or two
to assist the boys In the drive.
Mr. Waters moved that plumbing contractors be notified
that bids must be in by 7:30 P.M. February 14th on the proposed
